A mí me ilusiona esta cuestión.
Por otra parte se da en mi caso una bonita coincidencia. No sé si alguna vez habéis soñado con esos nuevos discos de vuestros grupos favoritos, nuevos discos que son la pera y que en vuestros sueños el equipo de marketing ha diseñado justamenta LA PORTADA que merecía el asunto, con temas de títulos increíbles y que en vuestras casas de hecho sonaban de forma concreta, novedosa, apabullante... para vuestro regocijo. Pues bien... a mí esto me ha pasado en varias ocasiones con este disco desde hace muchos años. Y curiosamente con cierta consistencia entre los distintos sueños. No será instrumental, como en la "edición onírica" que yo "tengo" peeeeeero... por ahí van los tiros.
Cuando escuché
The Endless River no me pareció nada raro que fuera predominantemente instrumental. Ver la estructura del disco - estructurado en cuatro largos temas - me acordé enseguida de
Broken China. Es posible que a
Rick Wright le hubiera gustado ver este
The Endless River tal y como se ha editado y me parece que lo habría firmado gustosamente. En un momento de la entrevista....
Blake: "You've mentioned earlier that you were frustrated by some aspects of The Division Bell. What exactly?"Rick Wright: "I think we could have gone further towards making a Floyd album as we used to - more thematic, with all the music having a logical link. That's something I think a lot of the band's fans like and it was something I wanted to achieve with my own record. There are a lot of other aspects of the record that I was very happy about, such as being able to contribute to the writing. My influence can be heard on tracks like Marooned and Cluster One. Those were the kind of things that I gave the Floyd in the past and it was good that they were now getting used again."A mí me parece que
