Días atrás (el 20 de agosto) dí cuenta del lanzamiento del próximo trabajo larga duración de la superbanda Frost* (he aquí el link correspondiente a esa novedad : https://sinfomusic.net/foro_rockprogresivo/index.php?msg=89766 ) cuyo título será ¨Life in Wires¨. El estreno está previsto para el 18 de octubre.
El pasado 12 de septiembre se publicó en YT una nueva canción de ¨Life in the Wires¨ : se llama Moral and Consequence y aquí está :

Paul Ellis & Per Thomhav - Orpheus  (Internacional - 2024)

El músico danés Per Thomhav, cuyo proyecto electrónico Synth Replicants fue reseñado varias veces aquí en Sinfomusic, ha lanzado un nuevo álbum. Esta vez se trata de una colaboración junto a su amigo norteamericano Paul Ellis, quien también posee en su haber infinidad de trabajos en el mismo género musical. El título del ejemplar es ¨Orpheus¨, trae 7 temas (algunos de ellos bastante extensos) y sigue la línea de la Berlin School, dirección musical que los caracteriza a ambos. En su página de Bandcamp se encuentran disponibles, para su audición, tres temas de ¨Orpheus¨, incluyendo el que da nombre al álbum. El sonido que logran estos dos notables artistas es excitante, intenso y muy disfrutable. Las influencias de los grandes referentes, tales como Klaus Schulze o Tangerine Dream, están implícitas y enriquecen la inspiración del trabajo. Muy recomendable.

Danish musician Per Thomhav, whose electronic project Synth Replicants was reviewed several times here in Sinfomusic, has released a new album. This time it is a collaboration with his American friend Paul Ellis, who also has to his credit countless works in the same musical genre. The title of the album is ¨Orpheus¨, brings 7 tracks (some of them quite extensive) and follows the line of the Berlin School, a musical direction that characterizes both of them. On their Bandcamp page, three tracks from ¨Orpheus¨ are available for listening, including the one that gives name to the album. The sound achieved by these two remarkable artists is exciting, intense and very enjoyable. The influences of great referents, such as Klaus Schulze or Tangerine Dream, are implicit and enrich the inspiration of the work. Highly recommended.
