Versiones de música clásica en Emerson, Lake And Palmer (o Powell) y The Nice

He recopilado las versiones que hizo el mítico grupo EL&P en cada uno de sus discos, la mayoría clásicas, para que podamos comentar sobre ellas. A mí, personalmente, no me suele gustar mucho que se versioneen temas clásicos, pero hay algunos casos en que no sólo no me ha importado, si no que me ha gustado mucho el resultado. Esto da para debatir. ¿Hay límite para poner versiones en los discos? ¿No resta creatividad? Porque la idea está en el original. En mi opinión, este grupo abusó de las versiones. Este grupo también tiene versiones que no son de música clásica. Resulta curioso que ningún disco del grupo está compuesto integramente por ellos. Todos tienen versiones. Mir versiones favoritas de ELP son The Barbarian, Take a Pebble, Knife Edge, Hoedown, Toccata, The Enemy God Dances With The Black Spirits, Fanfare For The Common Man y Romeo And Juliet.
Son versiones en parte o en todo. Si son en parte, aparece también acreditado alguno de ellos, como en el segundo movimiento de "Karn Evil 9".

Sobre "Karn Evil 9", leo en la Wikipedia "La segunda "impresión" es un instrumental, construido principalmente por Keith Emerson, que suena bastante como jazz en algunas secciones: de hecho, contiene una cita del calipso "St. Thomas", de Sonny Rollins. Contiene también material reelaborado del primero de los "Valses de Mefisto" ("Mephisto-Walzer", de Liszt: "El baile en la taberna de la aldea" ("Der Tanz in der Dorfschenke")."
¿Alguien puede decir cuanto de Liszt hay?
