https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/50850911/thinking-plague-new-cd-for-2016

Hello dear supporters,

Sorry for the long silence.  We've been very busy with rehearsals, performances, recording and...life.  And our 'sister' band Hamster Theatre is also working on a new album.

Meanwhile, our tracks are sounding GREAT, and we think that the album is going to sound amazing.  However, we have encountered some unexpected difficulties with scheduling and production.  For instance: our singer/keybaordist Elaine has started a fulltime graduate music program at the U. of North Texas!...and is planning to plough on through without breaks until she's done!  She has more parts to record, and it's a challenge overcoming the distance and time issues.  And we've had other issues that have held us up.   In order to release the CD in the fall, as we'd hoped, we would have to have everything, including mixing, artwork, etc., completed by May.  And, well....Sadly, it just isn't going to happen.

As a result, we'll have to wait until the next release "window", meaning that we'll submit everything by September, and that means the CD won't come out until January 2017.  Sorry!  We're know it's very disappointing (WE are really disappointed), but it's for the best.  But the album will be better for having been delayed.  And we PROMISE: No more delays.

Thank you for you patience.

Mike and the Plague
